Volunteer Opportunities

At Pop Up! Scotland, we know that we can do much more together than we can apart. Maybe you're looking for a bit of hands-on experience in preparation for your own arts-related project, or perhaps you just feel like getting involved in some crafty fun with creative, like-minded people – no matter what your background is, Pop Up! Scotland is always looking for volunteers and collaborators to help turn our projects into realities.
We also like to give back to our volunteers and interns by providing them with valuable experience and the opportunity to help further their careers. Both our Project Director and the unDependence Project Managers began working with us as Front of House volunteers and have grown to become an integral part Pop Up! Scotland, shaping our future with their work.
We pride ourselves on being open and approachable, so drop us a line at info@popupscotland.org or via our contact form below and let’s get crafty together! Let us know in the subject line of your email whether you'd like to get involved as an 'Intern' or 'Volunteer', (there's a brief outline of the roles on offer below).
Looking forward to hearing from you soon,
Pop Up! Scotland Team

Event volunteers

At Pop Up! Scotland, we're always on the look-out for new people to join the team! We also aim to tailor our volunteer roles to your personal interests, skills and/or experience. Maybe photography's your bag,  or your background's in event management, or maybe you just want to engage with other enthusiastic creatives (including some of Scotland's most promising new artists) and have some fun - whatever it is, we want to hear from you!
We endeavor to make sure that our volunteers gain meaningful, worthwhile experience and pick up new skills from their time with us.
We’re looking for people to help in a variety of ways:
 - Graphic designer gods
- Website/Wordpress gurus
- Social media ninjas
- Sponsorship/fundraising geniuses

- Painters, builders, movers and shakers
Enthusiasts happy to help with whatever comes up!

Scotland. These internships are more full-time, and will do our best to help source funding for them. While these roles are open to everyone, finance opportunities are generally easier to find for recent graduates, and the roles on offer are a great opportunity to build skills to transition from university life into the working world.
What we are looking for in individuals is:
- A willingness to commit to a part time role in the company
- A good understanding of IT and email skills
- A passion to work and socialise with a wide range of people from different creative backgrounds
- A interest in buisness structure and a drive for organisation
- Reliability and continuing commitment to agreed engagements
