We are Pop Up! Scotland: a creative, social enterprise that aims to bring art to unexpected places.
We’re in the process of organising a variety of events, exhibitions, and workshops and are looking to develop a core team of volunteers to help out. We’ll have our project managers along to talk about the individual projects and roles we’re looking to fill. So come along to hear a bit more about us, have some tea and coffee, and meet like minded creatives!
Upcoming Events:
- Pop Up Exhibition in partnership with Capability Scotland featuring artists from the Capability Scotland facilitiy
- Scotland’s degree show hits the road! A traveling exhibition of work from the degree shows of the Scottish Art Colleges and Universities
- UN*DEPENDENCE Film Festival – our continuing adventure in the world of film!
- Workshops in Saughton Park (and points beyond) – letting people get hands on with their creative sides around Edinburgh & Glasgow
- Interactive Maker’s event during the festival – get a front row seat from interactive art and making during the Edinburgh Festival
- Paint the Sky event – we’ll tell you more about that one on the night.
- Laser Cat – a giant inflatable cat that shoots art and lasers out of its eyes…what mare do you need to know?

- Enthusiasts happy to help with whatever comes up!
We’re are a not for profit organisation run completely by volunteers and are looking for anyone who wants to get involved and gain experience with film exhibition and/or arts organisation. Any and all levels of experience and interest are welcome, as someone needs to hit the pavement with flyers and someone else needs to update the blog and we’ll need someone to help set up the equipment or even help get publicity. Anything and everything is welcome, so please come along on and RSVP your attendance here.
